- Land in Dubai 5am
- Lift on cart/trolley/buggy across the floor to lifts
- Through security
- Thought hotel was in airport but apparently is 3 kms away.
- Taxi to hotel, not in airport just as sun coming up.
- 6am checkn hotel. Big hotel with big Bar called (Tacky Bar) probably doesn’t serve alchohol.
- Sam straight to sleep, I went for brekky on my own then straight to sleep
- Shower, good coffee ($52 aud for 3 coffees and a croissant!) and free hotel car each back to airport, nice ride (Merc I believe). 40 degrees outside.
- Dubai Emerates lounge very nice, whole level 5 is the lounge. Many food areas. Great food, curries etc.
- Dubai airport Prayer times, singing
- Alcohol allowed at lounge
- Said farwells to Boonses, they are off to Singapore then Melbourne in smaller jet (Boening 737 MAX?)
- Boarded at appx 9pm (appx 30 mins late, then another 45 mins on runway).
