- Turkish tour guide kept saying phrases like ‘With Gods permission’, ‘No rush, no hurry’, ‘Slowly slowly’, but would run ahead of us very quickly and we had to try and find him using just his radio signal. These phrases became memes during the trip
- He would give us 5-6 minutes to get a coffee or toilet break, then run off at 2-3 minutes.
- Ephesus ruins tour, very hot, lots of people.

- Short Live play of gladiators entertaining Mark Anthony and Cleopatra actors.
- Trying to get on bus, men trying to seel you turkish delight even whilst walking up bus steps.
- In bus, Saw First car crash on round about, people taking selfies at it.
- Tour guide very insistant on getting us to fill in lots of personal details about ourselves on iPad, yeah-nah. No thanks. Sam concerned over kidnapping.
- Escaped tour beforr we were ushered into rug shop!
- To get back to ship, were forced through Bazaars full of shopkeepers very insistant on seeling you very large turkish rugs. Yeah put it in my backpack.
- La Petit Chef specialty restaurant, lots of fun with holograms on plates and great food. Soup was the best meal on the ship so far, IMHO
