- 6.30am wake
- Bad brekky on the run to tour
- Raining a bit. Umberalls
- Couldn’t find tour group at Duamo Church
- Very late, finally found them at another location altogether.
- Statue of David tour, not bad.
- Skip the line, Duomo tour, didn’t climb the 450 steps up to top, only 150 or so to top of church walls. Great view all to ourselves.
- Ala Grande cafe (earby recommend) for lunch. free pastacio crossants to keep us from leaving, awesome ommelette once seated. very friendly lady and staff.
- Split from Boonses and went shopping for Sam necklace (Constantine), good Gelato.
- Back to hotel via ponte Vecchio (retail area over a bridge, gorgeeous).
- Caught up with Anthony Donellan and Darren in large cafe near piazza. They are up to see new Ducatti bike release (with CEO) and ride on private track.
- Merry-go-round ride in piazza.
- Takeaway pizza for dinner in our nice outdoor hotel setting
